Celebrate spring with Zoo Blooms, visit the Zoo's newest adorable animal additions during Zoo Babies. How would you like to feed a giraffe? This summer, you'll get the chance at Giraffe Ridge. Through the heat of the summer we invite guests to experience our amazing shows and educational Meet-a-Zookeeper talks. For fall, HallZOOween will entertain everyone in your family, and you won’t want to miss our spectacular holiday event, the PNC Fesitval of Lights.

Summer is here and the Zoo is full of adventures! Don’t miss the Wings of Wonder Bird Show, featuring more than 20 different species of birds and mammals! Hand-feed the five Maasai giraffes at Giraffe Ridge! See the fastest felines in the world from the internationally-known Cat Ambassador Program! Discover Lorikeet Landing, an open-air aviary filled with hundreds of lorikeets and parakeets that you can hand feed and Back by popular demand, you will have more opportunities to Meet-A-Keeper as they bring you closer to the action and share fascinating behind-the-scenes information about the animals

Zoo Tales

June 2 - July 21, 2009

Supported by the Cincinnati Public Library, Zoo guests will have the opportunity to listen to stories, sing-songs and meet storybook costume characters every Tuesday in the Wings of Wonder Theater!

Zoo Night at Great American Ball Park

July 3, 2009

The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is partnering with the Cincinnati Reds on Friday, July 3, for “Zoo Night ” at Great American Ball Park. The Reds will take on the St. Louis Cardinals at 7:10 p.m. and Cincinnati Zoo Z-mail subscribers are eligible for half-priced tickets on select seating areas.

Learning Through Art, Inc. presents the 15th year of celebrating the mosaic beauty of our region at their summer event, the Kids, Cultures, Critters & Crafts Festival. $1 admission to the Zoo from 9am - 6pm.

Rhino Awareness Days

July 25 & 26, 2009

Come to the Zoo during Rhino Days to help save these amazing creatures. Participate in special crafts and activities and learn more about rhinos during special keeper encounters.

Wild About Wine

If you are Wild about Wine, mark your calendar for our final wine tasting event of 2009. All proceeds benefit the Zoo’s Lindner Center for Conservation & Research of Endangered Wildlife (CREW) – the umbrella for all local and international conservation and research efforts of the Cincinnati Zoo.

Cheetah Run 5K Run/Walk

Running enthusiasts and Zoo guests can participate in a wild race through a wild place as the Cincinnati Zoo hosts the 30th annual Cheetah Run 5K at 8 a.m.  The 3.1-mile Cheetah Run winds through the Zoo, highlighting its stunning gardens and exotic animal exhibits.

Ape Awareness Days

September 12 & 13, 2009

Come to the Zoo during Ape Awareness Weekend to help save these amazing creatures. Participate in special crafts and activities and enjoy special keeper encounters.

Zoofari

September 25, 2009

An ever-changing theme keeps Zoofari – the Zoo’s major fund-raising event – the premier black tie gala of Cincinnati’s social scene. Guests will experience an evening of elegance, extraordinary style and excitement featuring incredible food from Greater Cincinnati’s finest restaurants, exotic wines, the city’s most impressive silent auction, live entertainment and dancing under the stars.

HallZOOween

October 10-11, 17-18, & 24-25, 2009

Little ghouls, boys and animals can enjoy three spooktacular weekends of fun. Each Saturday and Sunday during HallZOOween from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m., young Frankensteins (12 and under) can trick-or-treat their way around the Zoo.
