"Zoo Night" at Great American Ball Park

The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is partnering with the Cincinnati Reds on Friday, July 3, for “Zoo Night ” at Great American Ball Park. The Reds will take on the St. Louis Cardinals at 7:10 p.m. and Cincinnati Zoo Z-mail subscribers are eligible for half-priced tickets on select seating areas.

Assorted Zoo animals and Zoo mascots will be on display in the Fan Zone from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m., along with an on-field animal parade before the game!

Sam, the Zoo’s eight year-old bald eagle, will also be making one of his special flights during the singing of the National Anthem, where he will fly more than 300 feet from the Riverboat deck in center field to his trainer’s glove in the infield. Cincinnati Reds fans can see Sam take flight at approximately 6:58 p.m.The first 20,000 fans will receive a Sam the Bald Eagle trading card!

Sam is one of the only bald eagles in the country trained to fly in stadiums. Watch the Video!
