Join the Zoo's overnight program, Nocturnal Adventures, for special events designed for parents and children, age 5 and up. During the evening, you will tour buildings, experience live animal encounters and engage in other exciting activities. Awake to peacock and gibbon calls, have breakfast, and then tour the Zoo with your guide until 9am. Choose from Animal Adaptations or Sleep with the Manatees.

| WILD WINTER NIGHTS | Have a wild time during these long winter nights and sleep over at the Zoo! Have you ever wondered where animals spend the winter months? Or where animals get their food when the ground is covered with snow? Your family will explore the physical and behavioral characteristics of animal in the winter as you discover the meaning of adaptation. | FAMILY CAMP OUT | During your Camp Out overnight, we will prowl the Zoo for night creatures, cats, and crawlies. This program focuses on behavior and physical adaptations of animals, especially nocturnal animals. Come play games, meet, and even touch some of our animal ambassadors, sneak a peek behind the scenes, and curl up in your sleeping bag while we sleep outside! Bring your own tent and sleeping bag.
